We proudly introduce Shaking Bucks, a beautiful buckskin tobiano gelding, a Tennessee Walking Horse. If you are looking for something extraordinary, beautiful, well-trained, and full of personality, I encourage you to take a look at Shaking Bucks. Shaking Bucks, affectionately known around the barn as Buck, is a 2019 model buckskin tobiano registered TWH gelding. He stands 15.1hh and is a solid mount. Buck has a smooth, comfortable saddle gait and can cover some beautiful country. While his gait is nice, he is perfectly happy to just walk along. In my opinion, his loving personality, calm demeanor, and easy handle make him suitable for most riders. Buck was foaled on March 28, 2019. He is currently seven years old. He is a great age, old enough to have mileage and experience, yet young enough to have many good years left to enjoy. Buck is a nice ride, solid, safe, and smooth! Buck is an experienced trail horse who has seen all kinds of trails. He’s been one of our personal trail horses this fall, and he’s done a great job and been a pleasure to have. I have taken him on many day rides, night rides, and a week at Honey Creek Horse Camp earlier this fall. I’ve ridden him through Daniel Boone National Forest, Big South Fork, and several other trails. Buck has proven steady and reliable, even in challenging terrain. Buck has faced most trail obstacles you can imagine. He maneuvers carefully through steep, rocky, tight terrain. He willingly crosses mud puddles, creeks, logs, rocks, bridges, etc. He has also encountered wildlife on the trail, such as deer and squirrels. We have ridden him locally and hauled him to ride. Buck will ride alone or in a group, front, back, or middle. Buck is a solid trail mount. Buck is also easy to handle on the ground. He is easy to catch; he will come to you anytime he sees you. He respects fences, ties, leads, loads, and backs from the trailer; he stands for grooming, blanketting, and tacking up, and he lets you handle his hooves, etc. His sensible mind is one of his greatest characteristics! It has come in handy a couple of times. I have ponied another horse from him on the trail and even done some trail maintenance with a small chainsaw while riding him. He puts up with our shenanigans with no fuss. He stands to mount from the ground or mounting block, rides tacked or bareback. I have even hopped on him with just a halter. Buck rides in a tail croupier with no problem and carries saddlebags too. He is enjoyable to trail ride; he will take his time and let you enjoy the scenery or saddle along so you can enjoy the ride of a gaited horse. He loves people as much as, if not more than, other horses. He will drink from your bottle, play with the water hose while bathing, and play with a lead rope. He is Mr. Personality! If I had to fault him, it’s that he can be lippy. He is like a dog, lol. If you allow it, he will lick or nibble you. Someone will fall in love with his big personality. I could continue talking about Buck, but I will let the videos do the rest. We have put together plenty of video footage so you can meet Shaking Bucks virtually. Buck is up to date on Coggins and vaccinations and has had a general vet exam. He is shod in plain Jane keg shoes and had his fall deworming with ivermectin. Buck is ready to go and do whatever you want. It goes without saying he is one of the most beautiful horses on the market, with his color and markings. Buck is an all-around steady mount. I am happy to be offering this horse. I strongly encourage you to schedule an appointment to meet him in person throughout his auction. Feel free to contact me, Jordan Payne, with more questions or to discuss Buck.
