Pulled the mats out of my two-horse to replace them this weekend and I'm glad I did: one floorboard was softer than I'd like near the back.

How often do you lift your mats to check the floor? And for replacements, interlocking pieces or one-piece mats?

Good reminder. I lease, so I had honestly never thought about checking under the mats.

Twice a year here, spring and fall, and every time after a long haul in the wet. One-piece mats for me: fewer seams for urine to get under.

Spring and fall makes sense. Adding it to the calendar next to vaccinations.
